The other day, Izzy and I did a craft to help him learn the letters of his name. I wrote each letter of his name on a square of paper and we then glued it all onto a separate paper to make it look like a rocket. I then let him hang up his creation in his room. He had fun putting the glue on the back of the squares, but made me actually paste them to the paper. I asked him questions so that he could have the opportunity to figure out what letters he needed and in what order. I was very proud when he was able to tell me that he needed an I first and an S second. The rest of the letters will come in time 🙂
For Sydney, we did a simple little activity where we just put balls in each hole of a muffin tin. She had fun putting the balls in the holes (more like trying to throw them in), watching me swirl them around, and, of course, trying to eat them. Such a simple activity but both my babies have enjoyed it!
