The other day Izzy and I did a language activity where we built pretend ice cream cones. You can find the original post and printables here. We used our ice cream cones to talk about different vocab words and the differences between a boy and a girl. He would pick an ice cream scoop and we would talk about the picture on it. Then I would either ask him to give it to the boy or girl and he would proceed to build his ice cream cones. He loved it and we used it again this weekend to keep him busy for General Conference!

Izzy has figured out how to break out of his room despite our baby proofing measures so his nap times have been shortened by a good half hour or so. This has made getting Sydney’s activities accomplished sort of difficult. One day in particular, I had to settle for making her activity a sibling activity instead. I needed an easy activity that would engage both of them so we did a finger puppet show. I tried to make up a story to go along with our puppets, but I’m pretty sure there is a reason why I sell books instead of writing them.. it was an awful story! Even Izzy looked confused at the end. Sydney didn’t care though. By that time she was happily playing with the puppets by herself. While I couldn’t exactly take pictures of the activity, I did get a few of my cute audience…
